Google DeepMind has introduced Veo 2, a next-generation video-generation AI that sets a new benchmark with 4K resolution and over two minutes of clip duration, surpassing OpenAI’s Sora in both metrics. Integrated into Google’s experimental VideoFX tool, Veo 2 boasts enhanced physics modeling, sharper visuals, and precise camera controls, making it a powerful tool for creators. DeepMind is expanding access to Veo 2 through its Vertex AI developer platform, aiming to integrate its capabilities across Google’s ecosystem.
