💎 𝟛 Tools to Give You The Edge

Kreado AI: The platform is a video creation tool powered by AI, enabling users to produce multilingual videos showcasing virtual characters.

CaptureLab: A tool to capture highlights from gaming streams

Hoku: A health assistant that utilizes AI technology to offer tailored health assistance to users.

🚨 Breaking AI News

RealityGPT is the first wearable device in the world to provide its users with "perfect memory." It will be available in three forms: a watch, a bracelet, and a necklace. The current AR form factor (the glasses) is based on the NReal Air product with additional hardware. The watches and bracelets are built around the Raspberry Pi Zero W with a vision for low cost.

It uses a powerful LLM (most likely GPT-4) and lets you harness the power of AI. With this accessory, you'll never forget information, become fluent in any language, use an AI agent in the real world, and get information in real time.

In a recent interview with Sam Altman, CEO of Open AI and Chat GPT, he unveiled the roadmap for Open AI’s plans. Here are the takeaways:

  1. OpenAI is heavily GPU limited at present

GPU shortages (because Nvidia is the only GPU supplier) are currently hindering OpenAI's operations, which is affecting their short-term plans and resulting in reliability and speed issues with the API.

  2. OpenAI’s near-term roadmap

For the remainder of 2023 their goals include cheaper and faster GPT-4, longer context windows, an extended fine tuning API, and a stateful API.

  3. Plugins “don’t have PMF” and are probably not coming to the API anytime soon

Despite developer interest in ChatGPT plugins, it was suggested that they don't have product-market fit (PMF).

  4. OpenAI will avoid competing with their customers — other than with ChatGPT

ChatGPT is regarded as a smart work assistant, and OpenAI will focus on other GPT use-cases instead of releasing other products.

  5. Regulation is needed but so is open source

Altman called for regulation of future models but opposed any ban on existing models.

  6. The scaling laws still hold

Altman stated that scaling laws continue to apply and that making models larger will yield better performance, but they expect the rate of growth to slow down.

Chat GPT Prompt: How to become a better seller

Ever heard of the “reciprocity bias framework?” If not, you’re in for a treat… literally.

Think about a trip to Costco; the best part is when you get your free samples. They are always really good and make you want to buy the full product. This is the reciprocity bias framework.

Let’s see how we can use it in our business.

🔏 Copy and paste the prompt below ⏬

"Devise a compelling marketing campaign outline that employs the 'Reciprocity Bias' framework. The primary objective is to cultivate a sense of obligation in our ideal customer persona, who are business owners, to try our lead generation service. This campaign should include attractive value-adds or bonuses that will incentivize the engagement of our target audience. In return, encourage reciprocity by tactfully requesting a favor or action. This mutual exchange should reinforce the perception of a symbiotic relationship between us and the business owners, enhancing customer loyalty and long-term engagement."

Daily Definition

PMF (different PMF than above)

PMF or 'Probability Mass Function' is a statistical concept that's used frequently in the context of discrete random variables in machine learning and AI. A random variable is said to be discrete if it can take on a finite or countably infinite number of values. For example, the result of a dice roll is a discrete random variable because it can take on one of a finite number of values (1 through 6).

Now, let's break down what a PMF does. It assigns probabilities to the discrete values that the random variable can take. In simpler terms, a PMF gives us the probability that a random event will take a particular value. For instance, in a fair six-sided dice roll, the PMF would assign a probability of 1/6 to each of the outcomes (1,2,3,4,5,6) because each side is equally likely to land face up.

In a nutshell, the Probability Mass Function (PMF) is a fundamental concept in understanding randomness and probability in AI systems, enabling us to predict and model discrete events effectively.
