Inflection AI, the company behind Pi, a personal AI tool, introduced its AI supercomputer equipped with a crazy 22,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs. Each GPU is estimated to cost around $40,000. 40,000 × 22000 = $880 million dollars 🤯
This computer system will consume an estimated 31 megawatts of power. Which is enough power to keep a small city running.
Inflection AI has raised around $1.5 billion in investments and is valued at an impressive $4 billion. With this, they are really showing how serious they are about being a main player in the AI race.
Yesterday, Meta Hard launched their text version of Instagram, “Threads,” and it took off. In less than 24 hours, 50 million users signed up, breaking records. You can download it here.
It is an exact embodiment of Twitter, so much so that Elon Musk and Twitter have already sent cease-and-desist letters to Meta.
In regards to data privacy, it looks like Threads is tracking almost every bit of data possible from their users. Look at the list of “The Data Linked to You” before you make your decision.

An 'AI Supercomputer' is a high-performance computing system specifically designed to perform complex AI tasks at unprecedented speeds. Supercomputers achieve their high performance through an architecture that allows for massively parallel processing.
