🚨 Breaking AI News

A group of unnamed people have filed a class-action lawsuit against OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. The plaintiffs allege that OpenAI has violated privacy laws by secretly scraping 300 billion words from the internet, including personal information, to train its artificial intelligence models.

These are serious allegations, as they say OpenAI is risking "civilizational collapse" and are demanding $3 billion in potential damages.

If these allegations are confirmed, this could have severe legal and reputation consequences for OpenAI. It would most definitely lead to tight regulation in the AI industry.

Harvard University's popular intro to coding course, CS50, will be taught by an AI teacher starting this fall🤯. Harvard’s goal with this is to have a 1:1 teacher-student ratio with 24/7 individual support.

They are experimenting with Open AI’s GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 to see which performs best.

If they are successful, we can expect to see hundreds of other schools experiment with AI teachers. Participate in the poll below and let me know your thoughts.

Chat GPT Prompt: Negotiate a job salary script

This is one of the best responses to a prompt I have received from ChatGPT. This draft is a perfect script for negotiating a raise.

🔏 Copy and paste the prompt below ⏬
As a professional negotiator, your task is to compose a well-crafted script to negotiate a job offer that I received [insert job offer details]. The aim is to secure a 20% increase on the offered bonus, as well as additional Paid Time Off (PTO). You will need to articulate compelling reasons to justify these requests, maintaining a respectful and professional tone throughout the negotiation. However, also bear in mind that I am willing to compromise to an extent. Therefore, the script should be designed to reflect the possibility of negotiating down to a specific minimum acceptable increase [insert minimum acceptable increase]. In your script, emphasize my skills, achievements, and the value I bring to the company, while maintaining an open dialogue for further negotiation

Daily Definition

Unsupervised Learning

'Unsupervised Learning' refers to a type of machine learning that involves training an AI model using data that is neither labeled nor categorized. This means the AI must find patterns and relationships in the data on its own without any guidance or examples to learn from.

Imagine being given a box of different kinds of fruit that you've never seen before and being asked to sort them. You don't know the names or characteristics of these fruits, but you can still categorize them based on similarities like size, color, or shape. That's kind of how unsupervised learning works.

An example of unsupervised learning in the real world is customer segmentation in marketing. Companies use unsupervised learning algorithms to categorize their customers into different groups based on various factors like shopping habits, age, or income levels. These groups can then be targeted with more personalized marketing campaigns.
