AI Twitter went crazy on Thursday when Open AI made the announcement of Chat GPT for iOS users, I may or may not have gone crazy as well… As of right now, it is only available in the U.S., with plans to roll it out to other countries in the coming weeks.
The app is integrated with Whisper, which enables speech-to-text and is basically a more powerful Siri. It also syncs with your web version of Chat GPT, so all of your history is accessible.
This will be the number one app in the store in 24 hours mark my words.

Italy is aware of the potential instability AI can cause, and because of this, they have set aside 33 million dollars. This is aimed to, “enhance the development of digital skills for workers at risk of termination due to automation and AI.“
The fund is called “the Fondo per la Repubblica Digitatle,” or FRD for short. They are the first country in the world to enact such a fund, and I wonder if others will follow suit.
Earlier this year, Italy banned ChatGPT due to a data breach, which led to increased scrutiny of AI technologies by European regulators. And they haven’t let up as the EU is working on an “AI Act” to heavily regulate AI.
The World Economic Forum predicts that in the next 5 years employment growth will decrease by 14 million jobs due to AI… That is scary stuff. Now is the best time to start that side hustle you’ve been dreaming about.
It is estimated that 83 million jobs will be lost, with 69 million being created as data entry jobs are eradicated. R.I.P. to my major 😅.
But no worries, new jobs will be created, with AI at the center. That’s where AI specialists come in; it is the hottest job of 2023, and it’s not close. Here is a short list of offerings and salaries for an AI specialist.
