Daily Definition

Spatial Computing

'Spatial Computing' is a term that describes a range of technologies that seek to blend digital information with our physical environment. It's about interacting with digital content in a more human and intuitive way, using space and motion. In simpler words, spatial computing allows humans to interact with digital or virtual objects in the real or virtual world in three dimensions.

Imagine wearing a headset or glasses, and seeing a virtual object, like a digital chair, appear in your real-world living room. You could walk around it, look under it, or even 'touch' it using hand-tracking technology. That's spatial computing in action! It's the core technology behind Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) experiences.

To sum it up, 'Spatial Computing' is an emerging field in AI that seeks to create a more intuitive and immersive bridge between humans and digital information, transforming how we work, learn, and play.
