How AI is Impacting the World
Adobe Offers a Sneak Peak at their Neweset AI Tools
Adobe is offering a glimpse of some experimental AI tools designed to simplify complex creative tasks and give users more control over their projects. These tools, revealed at Adobe’s MAX conference, aim to make video, animation, and image creation more intuitive and less time-consuming.
The first, "Project Scenic," enables users to generate and manipulate 3D scenes, then convert them into detailed 2D images, giving much more control than text-based generation. Another tool, "Project Motion," simplifies animation creation by letting users animate text and images and then enhance them with textures and backgrounds using simple prompts. Lastly, "Project Clean Machine" focuses on video editing, automatically removing distractions like camera flashes or unwanted people, and correcting any visual inconsistencies.
These tools are part of Adobe’s "Sneaks" program, which showcases experimental projects to gauge public interest, although there’s no guarantee they’ll make it to full release. However, similar features, such as Photoshop's Distraction Removal, were once Sneaks themselves. Adobe is pushing to reduce the technical barriers for creatives, allowing for faster workflows and more polished results without requiring deep expertise.
Important Points:
"Project Scenic" lets users create and manipulate 3D scenes, then generate 2D images based on them.
"Project Motion" simplifies animation, adding motion to text and graphics and enhancing them via prompts.
"Project Clean Machine" removes visual distractions from videos, correcting the impact on lighting and color.
These tools are experimental, with no confirmed release date but potential for future Creative Cloud updates.
